How it works

We talk about your space. The interior, the colour palette you have used, what size you need, whether it is a diptych or a larger single piece. I want to understand what you are looking for in a painting, the feeling you want it to evoke, the materials you want used, and what will go with your space.

You send me a photo of the wall and I show you how it could look there, at the size we have talked about. The price and the timing are agreed before anything starts.

Depending on the commission, there may be some process shots that I am able to share with you. However, I tend to find that the painting really pops when I put the finishing touches to it, and would rather send you the video and some stills when the painting is complete.

You see it finished before it leaves me, and you are very welcome to come to the studio and see it in person. It arrives framed in the colour you have chosen, signed, and ready to hang.
Starting from an existing painting
You are welcome to use an existing painting as inspiration. Perhaps you want it in a different format, or at a larger scale. That works quite well, as you are able to have a feel for the palette, the energy and the movement.
I always say that I am not a computer, so there will be a difference when I try to recreate something. However, the beauty in that is that the commission takes on its own personality, and its own world of colour.

Send me a photo.
I’ll personally suggest works for you or show you how your favourite pieces could look in your space, including different sizes and frame colours.
There’s no obligation. Sometimes you just need to see it in your own space.

Hello, I’m Joanna.
I create art to bring more joy into everyday life.
I’ve been painting professionally for 14 years. I’m inspired by nature, by seasons of change and seasons of transformation. Here you’ll find framed canvas prints, originals for sale, and I have a small opening for commissions too.
My work has been commissioned by Hilton Hotels and luxury retailers, and hangs in offices and businesses that want more colour and energy in their space.
I pride myself on personally helping every customer, so if you’re torn between two pieces or don’t know where to begin, just send me a photo of your space and we can take it from there.
If joy
was a painting,
then maybe you've just found yours.
