New Vertical Prints have Arrived

I love painting across two vertical canvases.

I start by treating them as one piece, moving across both, and then somewhere along the way they become two paintings - a continuation of the story.

You may recognise a few from my bestselling square prints, because I originally planned on only selling square prints.

But here they are in their original format!

Joanna Gilbert in her studio with a large abstract painting

Hello, I’m Joanna.

Painting became my way of finding freedom.

Over the years my collections have explored everything from resilience and change to joy, acceptance and learning to let go.

I think that’s why I love abstract art so much. We can all see something different in it, depending on our own experiences.

And there’s something lovely about choosing a painting because it means something to you, not simply because it matches the sofa.

I’ve been painting professionally for 14 years, and my work has been exhibited internationally and commissioned for Hilton Hotels, businesses and private collections.

I’m so happy you’re here.
